Old Film

Old Film

  November 10th, 2009

One of my best birthday presents this year was Balda Juwella – a vintage folding camera. And it got even film on wooden spools in it! In case, if you don’t know, the wooden spools are the oldest ones. After wooden spools came metallic and now are plastic ones. So, even if I can’t exactly tell how old this film is, it’s probably over fifty years old. Even the film material is thicker than newer ones. The only sad thing about this film is that fungus and other things like that have eaten all the pictures and this frame is the most interesting part of the film. Hopefully new photos with this camera will come a bit better.

If you’re interested in this camera, you may read more (and look at the photos) on the Balda Juwella camera page.
